2. Information used by MeetDayo

• Account information, such as your name, email address, institution, role, and sign-in records.
• Profile and onboarding information you choose to provide, including interests, skills, preferences, and document links.
• Requests, messages, conversation content, attachments, feedback, and the actions you take in the service.
• Service and device information used to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve MeetDayo, such as timestamps, browser details, and technical logs.
• Information supplied by your institution about its services, opportunities, departments, supporters, and your access to its workspace.

3. How information is used

• Provide and personalise your workspace, recommendations, search, requests, introductions, conversations, and notifications.
• Confirm access, maintain accounts, prevent misuse, investigate faults, and protect the safety and reliability of the service.
• Help institution teams operate their workspace and understand demand for the services they provide.
• Improve Dayo and MeetDayo through testing, quality review, and product analysis.
• Respond to support, privacy, security, or legal requests and meet applicable obligations.

4. Dayo and automated processing

Dayo processes the prompts and relevant workspace information needed to answer you, suggest routes, and help coordinate a request. Generated output can be incomplete or incorrect, so important details should be checked.

Safety and quality processes may analyse interactions to detect problems, evaluate responses, and support appropriate human review. Dayo does not replace a human decision where your institution or another participant is responsible for that decision.

5. When information is shared

Information may be shown to your institution and to the students, supporters, or staff involved in a request, introduction, service, or conversation. MeetDayo may also use service providers that process information to host, secure, communicate, analyse, or operate the product.

Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, to respond to a valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect a person, investigate misuse, or secure the service. MeetDayo does not make your private workspace content publicly available through this policy.

6. Retention and security

Information is kept for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, support safety, or meet applicable requirements. The period can depend on the type of information and your institution relationship.

MeetDayo uses organisational and technical measures intended to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security, so report suspected account misuse through the support route available to you.

7. Your choices

You can review and update available profile fields in MeetDayo, control what you include in requests and messages, and manage notification preferences where those controls are offered.

To ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or another privacy right that may apply to you, use the support route in MeetDayo or the privacy contact supplied by your institution. Some requests may need to be handled by the institution responsible for the workspace.

MeetDayo uses cookies or similar browser storage where needed to keep you signed in, remember workspace state, and support security and product operation.
